At the end of the day I make decisions I must stand by. I may be foolish, and weak, and young, but I am called upon to make 1000 decisions everyday whether I know it or not. Whether I make the decision or not, not making a decision is a choice as well. I gather my information, I weigh my options, and try my best to make a choice. Was it right?
I never want to have any regrets in life. It is very important to me that I make decisions that I feel are right with my heart. However, sometimes there are situations where it’s difficult to be true to myself and sometimes there are times where I don’t know what is best. It is at these times when I remember the ultimate standard by which my life is measured. At the end of the day I remember that all my choices are judged by my Father in Heaven.
When I am mistreated I remember that I have a choice to make. I can choose to be rude in return, but I can also choose to be the man that God would want me to be. When I act as such, I really have found the best outcomes and maybe I don’t realize it immediately, but eventually I see the fruits of such actions. I choose to be the man who chooses to act in accordance with the laws and teachings written in my Bible I am. I’m not always successful, but these teachings help guide my decisions when I struggle with what to do. At the end of the day as long as I do my best to act in accordance with his will, my mind and my heart are at peace.
