HopeFul Reflections

A year and a half ago I prayed to God that find someone who truly cared for me. I wanted a life partner who I could count on to be there for me. I am independent enough that I can take care of myself, but I want to walk through life with a partner. I want to share my life, both highs and lows, with someone.

God gave me her. She is, funny enough, both the most motivating demotivating person in my life. I want to work harder to provide the best life and become the best partner for her. However, when I’m with her I melt and become useless because I would rather just sit with her and talk than work. She makes going to work easier because I get to come back to her. She also makes the world stop when we argue.

She made times of uncertainty better with her presence. Her smile brings warmth wherever I go. Her laugh brings levity to all situations. Her eyes are often staring off into space, but I love when they refocus onto me. She’s shy, but she tries to learn how to care for me. She acts tough, but is soft as ice cream.

She’s my blessing and I love her. We have a lot to learn and go through, but we are going through it together. I am glad I found someone to share my life and my faith with.

I pray you all find someone who cares for you and that you can learn to care for as well.
